Repairing an Archive Back Forward


You can use PowerArchiver's repair tool to fix broken or corrupted ZIP archives. To activate this tool, select "Repair Archive..." from the "Tools" menu, or press "CTRL+R".

To select an archive to be repaired, enter the name and path of archive manually, or use the browse button. Once you have chosen an archive to repair, click "Start".

All relevant information with regards to the repair process will appear in the text box. Please understand that PowerArchiver can not repair corrupted data, instead it will delete corrupted files from the archive and recreate the header files so the archive can be properly used and other data can be recovered.
